Product description
The Pro-tect Flint is a 90 cm long chain lock with the ART 1 quality mark. This ART 1 quality mark makes the Flint ideally suited as a second lock for more expensive bikes, such as cargo bikes and E-bikes. Weighing only 1235 grams, the Flint offers maximum security against minimal load. In addition, the chain lock's links have a soft textile cover to prevent damage to the frame. Furthermore, the lock head has a sliding cover which prevents dirt and moisture from entering the cylinder. With slide card.
The ART 1 strength (security) level is comparable to the European standard for bicycle locks EN 15496. From (Dutch) bicycle theft insurers, an ART 1 approved lock is therefore seen as the minimum security level with which an E-bike or cargo bike should be locked to the fixed world when an extra (2nd) is required.
